Join Tour Leader Hector Bordenave on a 54 km, two-country ‘B-C’ ride from Virgil to Goat Island. Goat Island is a small island in the Niagara River, in the middle of Niagara Falls between the Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls, and is only accessible from Niagara Falls New York. It’s the oldest State Park in the USA. For better or worse Goat Island no longer has any goats. John Stedman, an early pioneer and miller kept a herd of goats on the island. The animals all died in the terrible winter of 1780, but gave the island its name.
