Join Amici per la Vita Niagara Cycling Club for a day of cycling and friendship!
Amici members would love to ride with us on their Niagara roads and show us some roads we’ve never ridden before.
Date: Monday, August 7
Arrival Time: 8:30 am / Come early and enjoy coffee and treats & 30 min of socializing
Ride Start Time: 9 am / We’ll break into 4 groups (A, B, C, and Rec/based on Amici’s pace range) to accommodate different levels of riding.
About the Ride: Each group will have a designated ride leader/sweep. No one will be left behind. There will be a snack/washroom stop on each ride. Note: Amici does not have a group category for Freewheeler ‘C’ & ‘S’ riders.
Start Location: Firemen’s Park, 2275 Dorchester Road, Niagara Falls
Long Route (81 km): A, B, & C Rides to Port Colborne
Short Route (55-60 km): Rec Ride – Niagara Parkway to Chippawa & return on back county roads
About the Groups/Pace: The pace is not your average speed for the entire ride. It is what you see on your speed sensor as you are riding and will vary depending on the conditions and composition of the group.
