Join us for the last big get together of the season at Centennial Park in Fenwick. It will include morning rides, a Special Members’ Meeting, and a pizza lunch! Choose one of our three morning group rides – ‘B’, ‘C’, or Speedy Turtles and make sure you check the schedule for the start times. After the rides (approximately 12:30 pm), we will meet in the Fenwick Lions Club building adjacent to the park for the short Special Members’ Meeting, which will be followed by lunch – Mossimo’s pizza, cookies, and apples. Gluten-free pizza and dessert will be available. If you can’t make the ride, join us for the meeting and lunch. Non-cycling partners are welcome. Be sure to wear your Freewheelers jersey as one of your layers!

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEMBERS’ MEETING This is to advise all members of the Niagara Freewheeler Bicycle Touring Club Inc. that a Special Members’ Meeting will be held in conjunction with the Fall Social. The purpose of the meeting is to pass resolutions approving changes to the Club’s Articles of Amendment and By-law #1 so that the organization is in compliance with changes made to the Ontario Non-Profit Corporations Act.
Moved by Dan Toppari, and seconded by Dianne Coppola, that the membership pass a special resolution as follows: a) Resolved that Articles of Amendment as attached hereto be approved; b) Resolved that a new By-law #1 as attached hereto, to replace the existing By-law #1 be approved; and c) Resolved that the specific number of directors, within the range as set out in the Articles of Amendment, shall be determined by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Additional resolution: Moved by Dan Toppari, and seconded by Rita Dillon, that the membership pass a special resolution as follows: d) Resolved that the Club dispense with undertaking a review engagement and/or financial audit on an annual basis.
