We are very pleased that you are considering joining our club. If you enjoy cycling and the beauty of the Niagara area, we have a lot to offer. This year our schedule has over 500 rides. Check it over carefully, find the speed and distance that suits you, grab your helmet, bike, and water bottle and come on out. You may find yourself on familiar ground or riding in a part of the region you have not visited before.
On all regular rides, the Tour Leader rides at the back so no one is left behind. Maps/cue sheets are available for these rides. On group rides, the Tour Leader usually leads the ride from the front and waits at all turns for all riders. There are no cue sheets/maps for these rides.
We really enjoy eating and stop midway through most rides for a Tim Horton’s break, or breakfast, or lunch. This is a good time to socialize and meet new people who could soon become new friends. There are many opportunities throughout the season to join in fun events, whether you are a single, couple, or family.
You can have a good time cycling by yourself. You can have an even better time cycling with the Niagara Freewheelers! I look forward to meeting you on a ride.
