Description
Join Tour Leader, Rod Forrester on a leisurely and very scenic 63 km ‘B’ ride on excellent roads through the pleasant rural areas surrounding Lewiston, New York. The route leaves Academy Park in downtown Lewiston and heads east on a section of paved trail and then the remainder of the route follows smooth roads with excellent paved shoulders. All roads are flat and have very low volume traffic. You will enjoy a rest stop at Wilson-Tuscarora State Park overlooking Lake Ontario. We then follow the lake back west, through the property of historic Fort Niagara and into Youngstown where we stop for lunch at the Village Diner. From here, we can take in the beautiful views of NOTL. After lunch, we enjoy a most pleasant 10 km ride along the Niagara River back to Lewiston.
