Circle Route Map

The Great Circle Route is . . . well . . . GREAT and we’ll be riding it in a clockwise (north) direction! Mark Saturday, July 6th in your calendar and then decide which  route option you would like to ride. It’ll be fun and challenging, but ‘YOU CAN DO IT’! There are 3 options – Full Circle, 1/2 Circle, and 1/3 Circle.

NEW – we have added the 1\3 Circle! The 45 km route is relatively flat and will be to Queenston and back. Come on out Speedy Turtles!

As we have done in past years, there are several start location options:

  • 7:30 am – KLP (HH Knoll Park, 217 Sugarloaf Street, Port Colborne – south end of Fielden Avenue)
  • 8: 30 am – PRW (Port Robinson Ferry West (park at Ferry)) Note: PRW is the official start location on Ride Schedule
  • 9:10 am – L3M (Lock 3 Museum, St. Catharines) Note: L3M is the start location for 1/3 Circle. Before leaving L3M, we’ll gather for a group photo.

Although the distances may seem challenging, it is a friendly ride and open to riders of all abilities. Come out and challenge yourself! If you have any questions, please contact Janet Rivers.

Full Circle ‘A’ Group with Brian Young – 140 km This group will visit a number of War of 1812 historical sites. Highlights: Fallen Workers Memorial, Fort George, Queenston boat dock, Laura Secord Homestead, Queenston Heights, Brock’s Monument, Lundy’s Lane Battlefield, Drummond Hill Cemetery, Fort Chippawa, and the Old Fort Erie fort.
