Anyone who wishes to register for the Cuba trip will be booked based on space and available pricing (may be subject to change).

Mark your calendars – January 22 to February 1, 2020!

Freewheelers, friends, and family are welcome to join us for a cycling and beach holiday in Cuba!

The Brisas resort is a great place for fun and sun, where you can be as active or inactive as you wish! There is something for everyone! Cyclists usually ride in the morning and return to the resort in the afternoon!

After the two held spaces are released by Sunwing on November 22, anyone who wishes to register will be booked based on space and available pricing (may be subject to change). If you are interested, please read the details about costs/room types/flight times. In the past, many have stayed in the Garden View bungalows in the villa section. If you like what you read, please complete the Booking Form, and scan and e-mail it to Ineke Brinkman as soon as possible. Ineke will confirm your participation and notify Rita/Dennis so they can add your name(s) and email address(es) to our confirmed list. This will be used to obtain information about your bike preferences, excursion bookings, etc. We will also keep you in the loop by issuing regular information updates. Then sit back and dream about your sunny mid-winter holiday in the company of the friendliest people on two wheels.

We are also working with  Bikes For Cuba and Broken Spoke at Port Colborne High School to provide bikes to those who wish to take them to Cuba, ride them there, and then leave them for Cuban youth. More information will follow on this. We will also take medical supplies for delivery to various Cuban clinics.

As in the past, we will be working with Celso in Cuba to put together three days of optional excursions for all attendees. Some of you have previously experienced our catamaran and snorkelling day, the “old car” touring day, and the walkabout day in Holguin City.

Legal Information: This is a Non-Freewheelers event and so it is open to anyone. The Niagara Freewheelers Bicycle Touring Club (NFBTC) and it’s executive and members have no legal responsibility for any aspect of this event. The NFBTC insurance policy does not apply in Cuba. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary insurances (medical, trip cancellation & interruption, etc.).

All are welcome! Please let us know if you have any questions..
