Tour Leaders

It is important for the safety and operation of the Club that you review the responsibilities of a Tour Leader annually before the cycling season starts.

Ensure that all members and guests have printed their names, initialled, and added their emergency contact’s information on the Ride Liability Release Form before the start of a ride.

Send the completed Ride Liability Release Form to Hans Taal, Membership Director as soon as possible after a ride. Scan and email or take a cellphone photo of the form and send it on to Hans.

At the beginning of each ride, review the safety points for the riders and remind them to obey the Highway Traffic Act.

Carry an Incident Report Form with you on all rides to record information at the scene of an incident. Where appropriate, take photos, e.g. pot holes, railroad tracks.
