SUMMARY:Brewery Tour 2026 - Discovering the Niagara Benchlands
DESCRIPTION:Join Ron Matsushita\, Tour Leader\, for this year’s Brewery Tour – Discovering the Niagara Benchlands and the Bench Brewing Company. This independent and unique craft beverage company was built in Maple Grove School – a beautifully restored 19th-century schoolhouse that sits in the breathtaking Niagara Benchlands wine region of Niagara. The Bench takes its inspiration from Belgian-style beer making\, and the selection on offer includes juicy IPAs\, berry-infused sours and sturdy porters. \nWe’ll meet at the brewery (address below) and park at the end of the lot. From here\, we’ll explore the Niagara Benchlands cradled at the base of the Niagara Escarpment\, where it encompasses the Town of Lincoln\, which includes Beamsville\, Vineland\, Jordan\, Jordan Station\, Campden\, Tintern\, Vineland Station & Rockway. The Town is known for its ‘Big Benches’ that are located throughout the towns of Lincoln. Both the 42km and 50km routes will take in several of these oversized benches so make sure you snap a shot! Hop off your bike and be creative! This ride is meant to be a scenic tour so take your time and enjoy the experience. After a morning of bench hunting\, we’ll return to the brewery for lunch on the patio and some beer\, of course! \nStart Time: 10 am \nStart Location: Bench Brewing Company\, 3991 King Street\, Beamsville \nRSVP: Ron Matsushita by Wednesday\, August 26 \n42km route: Ride with GPS Link \n50km route: Ride with GPS Link
